Best Dog Park: Marymoor Off-Leash Dog Park

By Seattle Mag November 20, 2024

People and dogs are enjoying a sunny day near the river at Marymoor Dog Park, with some paddling on stand-up boards while others watch from the off-leash area on the shore.

This article originally appeared in the November/December 2024 issue of Seattle magazine.

Known as “Doggy Disneyland,” this 40-acre off-leash dog area draws pet parents from all over the city. The enclosed area boasts a mix of open fields, woods and a riverbank, and is also home to eight concession stands. This former farm is near the Microsoft campus and adjacent to a massive sports field complex.

Hot Tip

Bring a frisbee, ball, or another of your dog’s favorite toys, as there’s plenty of space to roam and play. Enjoy a more relaxed, less crowded scene on weekday mornings.
